For one reason, Rang De Basanti is the official entry into the Oscars, which is winning him loads of possitive attention. He has made the country exceedingly proud.

Now Aamir is stepping to another role once again, albeit on the small screen.

Apparently, he has agreed to host a TV show to be produced by the infamous onscreen vamp - Urvashi Dholakia (Better known as Komolika of Kasauti Zindagi Ki fame).

The show will be aired on Gandhi Jayanti and primarily aims at paying tribute to the unsung heroes of India. The show has been inspired by RDB and will honour those who have contributed to the society.

Previously, there was a reported of a similar situation in Pakistan, a news channel, AAG, was inspired by RDB.
