Rekha, veteran producer Surinder Kapoor, producer-director Prakash Mehra and director Madhur Bhandarkar were honoured at the AGM of IMPPA (Indian Motion Pictures’ Producers Association). Bimal Roy was honoured posthumously. Bhushan Kumar was honoured with 'Producer of the Year' award.

IMPPA President T.P. Aggarwal awarded with the IMPPA Trophy for their significant contribution to the film industry.

Smita Thackeray was the chief guest, while producer-director Shakti Samanta, Bharat Shah, Pahlaj Nihalani and Mahesh Bhatt were the guests of honor.
