Yash Raj Films' Tashan continues to get hammered by critics. With 39 reviews now in for the film, it stands at a 37%, which earns it a 'Bad' Tag. Of the 39 reviews, 6 have been positive and 6 have been average with the remaining 27 reviews being negative. At the box office, the film has faltered as well. Box Office India is reporting that the film managed to do a net gross of 7.75 crore in its first two days, making a 20 crore opening a tough ask. The business over the first two days was around 70-80%.

The film is also the worst reviewed big budget film in six months. While the film has done very poorly with the critics, it is still above recent fare like last Friday's Sirf (36%) and Bhram, however it is the worst reviewed big budget major release since No Smoking (32%).

Bachchan.com has announced a launch date of 6th June, 2008 which is also the weekend that the highly anticipated Sarkar Raj hits the screen.
