The Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai police raided the rave party at the Mumbai 72 Degrees East club, in the posh Juhu area, and detained the young men and women apart from seizing a large quantity of drugs, deputy commissioner of police Vishwas Nagre-Patil told IANS.
The police also arrested eight drug peddlers, including an Israeli national, S. S. Shimon, and one woman, who were present on the premises.
The police recovered 104 tablets of ecstasy, 540 drops of ecstacy and other drugs like charas and cocaine, collectively valued at Rs.1 million, Nagre-Patil said.
The reports of all the youth have been dispatched for forensic analysis.
“After we receive their reports within a month, all those persons found positive shall be arrested,” Nagre-Patil said.
