New York, Sep 8 (IANS) Hip hop star Timbaland is hoping that troubled pop star Britney Spears makes a great comeback and that she can reconnect with her family too.Speaking on a radio show he said: "I would love Britney to have a smash, it would be the greatest comeback ever. I think it would be phenomenal...but I think she's got to be connected with her family. She can't do it alone."

He also spoke about the pop star's upcoming performance at the MTV Music Awards, people.com reported.

Timbaland said: "Britney's cool, but I think that ... it was too much. Now it's like, 'Okay, Britney's opening, she got a new song.' ...It's kinda dull. It's kinda flat-lined."
