'Victory' to show Sunny's soft, romantic side

'Victory' to show Sunny's soft, romantic sideMumbai, Sep 16 (IANS) Director Guddu Dhanoa has decided to completely revamp his cousin Sunny Deol's image with his new film "Victory".Dhanoa told IANS: "My new film with Sunny which starts soon is called 'Victory'. Sunny plays a cop. Like our earlier collaborations from 'Ziddi' to 'Salakhein' to Big Brother, it will show him as a powerful man, but there will be only one stunt sequence. That's it. The rest of 'Victory' will feature the soft, sensitive and romantic side of Sunny which I feel hasn't been tapped so far."

"Both Sunny and I hope to change our images with the film. 'Gadar - Ek Prem Katha' too was a love story. But it had large doses of action. 'Victory' would be a surprise to Sunny's fans. Though he plays a cop, he hardly does any stunts," he added.

However, he cuts down all talk about doing a sequel to Anil Sharma's historic 2001 blockbuster "Gadar - Ek Prem Katha".

"I've no clue. I am doing 'Victory' for Zee and they're planning a sequel to 'Gadar'. But not with me as director."

Sharma, who directed "Gadar - Ek Prem Katha", is expected to do the sequel. "He's the best man to carry the story forward," said Dhanoa.
