Ashutosh Gowariker and UTV have finally set the release date of Jodhaa Akbar.

An official communication states that the much-awaited epic romance is slated for a worldwide release on 25th January, 2008.

"The change of release date is due to the fact that Jodhaa Akbarhas an extremely demanding post-production schedule," the statement adds.

Hrithik Roshan is Akbar and Aishwarya Rai is Jodhaa in the film produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.
