Following Hrithik's 70 crore money-spinner Krrish, the next in the superhero genre, Drona, was slatted for a Diwali 2007 release.

Featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, the film was expected to herald the arrival of the best special effects in Bollywood to date. However, much to the disappointment of the fans, there was news of a postponement to next Diwali, as only ten percent of the SFX were complete.

The latest news going round is the much awaited Drona may not be postponed but rather preponed, although we will wait to hear this from the makers before we mark are calendars.
