It seems UTV has ambitious plans in the works. In addition to making strides into the international arena [co-producing The Namesake and planning international co-productions with Will Smith and M. Night Shyamalan], they are also dubbing its 2006 smash hit Rang De Basanti in English.

Why you might ask? Well, UTV will be re-launching Rang De Basanti as a crossover release in the international market. While the original Hindi version was of two and half hours long, the international version will be of two hours and ten minutes -- 40 minutes shorter. Also, the title will be changed to Colour Of Sacrifice.

In the next few months, the international version will have a limited theatrical release.
