The best movies of 2007 so farWe're a quarter of the way through 2007 and it's time to take a look at the top movies of 2007 so far. For the entire list of the top films of 2007, click here.

So far the top five reviewed commercial films of 2007 are Guru (72%), Eklavya (63%), 1971 (61%), Namastey London (54%) and Nishabd (54%). Of those films, only Guru has emerged as a universal hit although Namastey London is doing well in certain areas.

Including unconventional films, the top 5 reviewed films for 2007 are Black Friday (80%), Parzania (74%), Guru (72%), Water (71%) and The Namesake (66%) in that order. Black Friday is at an impressive 80%, a feat that only Lage Raho Munnabhai managed to reach in 2006 (although Rang De Basanti was close with a 77%).
