Aamir Khan May Make Film On Plight Of FarmersIf the reports are to be believed, Aamir Khan is thinking of producing a film to highlight the state of farmers in southern Indian states.

Aamir got embroiled in a controversy and a bit of head butting with some groups in Gujarat created over his comments regarding the need for the rehabilitation of the farmers displaced by Sardar Sarover Project. It is now believed the actor is planning to raise the pertinent issue of farmers' plight through a film.

However, the reports are that Aamir will not direct the film, only produce it.

Reportedly, the film is the brainchild of former journalist Anusha Rizvi. The story revolves around a journalist who covers reports about the horrifying conditions of farmers in rural areas.

Known for his sensitivity toward various social issues, Aamir, like many, is said to be disturbed by suicide rate of the farmers in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
