The highly anticipated film Guru starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai has been postponed by a week, pushing it back to end of December, perhaps the first week of January.

Sources from the films distributors, Kaleidoscope Films, have confirmed this news, stating the reason for the delay is to avert the clash with Bhagam Bhaag, which releases on 22nd Decmeber. Additionally, Madras Talkies claims that they never gave an official release date for the film.

Another film which has been postponed is Yashraj Film's Tara Rum Pum, which has been pushed back to April 2007. People were expecting the film to release in January; however, Yashraj Films seem to be in no hurry to release the film and the officials at Yashraj Films refused to comment when contacted.
