Well, looks like King Khan is ready to carry on where Big B has left off once again. First Don, and now Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Shah Rukh Khan will soon be the new host of the ever popular show as he has been signed to do two seasons of the show, with the option to continue for another season.

His first show is expected to air in January 2007. Amitabh Bachchan was given the option to continue the Kaun Banega Crorepati stint but he chose not to. However, when Shah Rukh was approached, he loved the idea of hosting the show, which he was once a contestant on.

Nothing has been said about the fee Shah Rukh is getting, but if rumors are to be believed, it is double what Amitabh's fees was.

This is a boon for all SRK fans.
