On Sunday evening, Adlabs hosted the launch of the book, "The Making of Umrao Jaan", which gives behind the scenes details about the making of the film.

The interesting thing is, the book is not available in any bookstore. Unfortunately for some, it will be only be available nationally exclusively at the chain of Adlabs Cinemas, where patrons can browse through the book.

The book launch was a well-attended function. Aishwarya was the first one to arrive, followed by Abhishek Bachchan who was shooting in Chembur. Then JP Dutta and his wife, yesteryear actress Bindiya Goswami, as well as Divya Dutta, Puru Raj Kumar, Anu Malik and Anna Singh were also present.
