However, on Sunday he was on the 'Blue Billion Express' with Priyanka Chopra to cheer the Indian Cricket team. "I am not here as Shah Rukh the star but simply as a professional fan," he said. Shah Rukh Khan and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra joined millions of fans in cheering on the Indian cricket team.

So began the ride from Delhi to Jaipur of about 200 'professional fans' and about 100 others who had won a contest. The next five hours saw the excitement continue while both stars interacted with all present on the train. Saturday.

Around 100 winners wearing the Indian flag, tri-colored wigs, tattoos and of course the Indian cricket team’s numbers and names led by Shah Rukh and Priyanka to cheer the Indian team against England in their first Champions Trophy match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur of a one-of-a-kind promotional campaign, 'Blue Billion Express'.

Describing their initiative to facilitate the journey of cricket lovers from Delhi to the Pink City as a way of celebrating the game, Pepsi's Executive Director Marketing, Punita Lal, said, "The Blue Billion Express has been conceptualised to unbottle the passion of the lovers of the game."

The train was flagged off by Pepsi's (India) Chairman Rajeev Bakshi at the Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi, which was teaming with enthusiastic winners sporting colourful tatoos and chanting slogans in support of the Indian team.

Pepsi's brand ambassador, SRK, said everybody in the country loves and supportes cricket, adding that endeavours should be made to promote and commercialise all sports so that more money could be made from them as well.

"Cricket is the biggest game simply because of the large number of fans and fanatics across the world. It is high time that we afforded such options to other games as well," said King Khan.

He then spoke quite passionately about the need for parents to broaden their horizons regarding sports. "I know I will get a lot of flak for saying this but it needs to be said: Even if your child is weak in studies but is interested in sports, encourage him to look at sports as an option in life. I personally make sure my son plays a range of sports."
