Arjun Rampal may have lost out on working with Aamir Khan in the blockbuster Rang De Basanti, nonetheless, he is now waiting to make his presence know in Farhan Akhtar's Don.

If one asks Farhan what prompted him to sign Arjun to play the role essayed by Pran, he replies, "With due respect to the original, I always felt that the character essayed by Pran Saab was too old. I felt it needed to be a lot younger and with his physicality and intensity, I thought Arjun would be the right fit for the part. He has performed extremely well in Don."

Arjun attended a private screening of Don a few days ago and has yet to stopped raving about the film. "The film is kickass!" he reportedly remarked.
