Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a former Ms. World pagent winner (1994)and is one of the top most actors in Indian cinema.

Aishwarya is also one of the few Bollywood actors who has crossed over successfully in Hollywood, starring in films like Bride And Prejudice, The Last Legion, and the upcoming Pink Panther Returns.

Rai made her movie debut in 1997 with Mani Ratnam's Tamil film, Iruvar and her hindi film debut was in Aur Pyar Ho Gaya. She married superstar Abhishek Bachchan on April 20, 2007 after having dated fellow actors Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi in the past.
